Looking for someone who enjoys life, an intellectual (not necessarily book smart), passionate guy who processes a zest for quality in life: good food, movies, nature, weekend getaways, cultural events, traveling. I am very close to my family and would like to meet someone who shares the very same family values, and likes loud holidays, birthdays and important milestones. I find that the best chemistry occurs when two people seek to share new experiences, value and validate each other's views, goals and can learn something from each other. I appreciate (and often attracted to) guys who have a positive outlook at life, have an awesome sense of humor, remain respectful, enjoy a rewarding career (but know how to balance time), challenge fears with ambitions, embody compassion and are chivalrous.
I prefer to build real-life connections: few emails and/or phone, (provided there is chemistry over the phone) followed by face-to face conversation. I find that no amount of emails can substitute human interpersonal connection.
About Me: I have a great sense of humor ( but I need to be comfortable with the person first), educated, feminine, fun, compassionate, I like outdoors (anything with water, boats, parks, beach, having bbqs etc.), family-oriented, love to travel (although so far it’s been mostly exotic Caribbean beaches) , trying out new cultural places, fine dining, movies, Broadway, just having fun. I absolutely love exploring different NYC neighborhoods and just finding new places in NYC/Brooklyn I can walk around for hours checking out new parks, restaurants, brunch places, neighborhoods. I love all four seasons and can appreciate living in NY and finding something special to do for every season. I like animals, absolutely love dogs (wish I had one), always wanted to go on a Safari adventure trip :-). My weekends off are fairly balanced between hanging out with friends/family and having time to follow my passions/interests. I love to read contemporary novels esp. ones that are rooted in Judaism and given time make it my duty to follow world politics and stay involved in the community -).
My ideal date: Includes aspects of old-fashioned forgotten class/romance and chivalry. I prefer a quite dinner in the city to a loud bar and drinks. Later on the date can lead to comedy club, lounge, strolling through the city's nightlights, movies etc. (if there is chemistry). I find formal first dates more romantic and prefer when a guy can pick me up and get me home safe, hence I'm not particularly looking forward to taking a train in the city to meet a guy. I enjoy romance and I am looking for a guy who is not afraid to make an effort, ‘invest’ commitment, and time. Someone who is looking to build a lasting connection.
