About Me
I'm passionate about many things. I love history, teaching (I am described as a natural story teller), the Southwest, dining in good restaurants, bookstores, getting together for tea, oriental rugs, cats, the ocean, and dressing well. I am shy, reserved, and low-key, but I also have a lot of depth and sensitivity. I can also be very funny and witty once I break the ice. Getting to know me takes time and persistence, but those who know me well say that I am loyal, kind and supportive with an encyclopedic mind and a professorial demeanor. A friend of very long duration recently told me that getting to know me is worth the effort. I think that's a great compliment!
