Came down to DC for a job after finishing up my master's in NYC and enjoying what this city has to offer. I've lived and worked in Europe and South Asia, and always up for the next adventure.
Otherwise, if you had to boil it down, on any given day, I would go with mountains over beaches (though a beach near a mountain is best)...soccer over football (over most sports really, though any live event is awesome)... the E-street theater to Regal (though sometimes you need a solid blockbuster)...a cosmopolitan perspective over an international one (there are two ways to travel)...and apparently ellipsis to periods...
