I am a Bronx-born Jewish intellectual. I love good conversation, well-written history books, and any film by the great Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. My passion is Jewish history. Jewish tradition and Israel are an important part of my life. I am a teacher of both children and adults and am a well-known lecturer in South Florida. My essays have appeared in The Jerusalem Post, The Jerusalem Report, Midstream and the South Florida Jewish Journal. I love life and, although I take the world seriously, I have a sense of humor.
