I come from a great family whose unconditional love and support has allowed me to pursue and excel at many of the things that I am passionate about. I feel blessed for the opportunity to know and do what I love and hope I can use my knowledge and experiences to positively impact my family, friends, community and the planet.
After a diverse and mostly great university education and a brief stint in the workforce, I chose to branch off on my own and start a food business. For me, creating something from nothing is very exciting. I thrive on the challenge business brings and the feeling that I have control over my own destiny (whether I actually do or not). A couple years in, I am committed to making my business a success while keeping the best work/life balance that I can.
I have been a SCUBA diver for 14 years and always up for cold or warm water diving. Diving has been a big part of my life and I hope that my future partner will also enjoy the sport. I'm super active and generally athletic so am always up for biking, yoga, tennis, kayaking, hiking, or skiing.
I love to cook and have spent the past several years learning as much as I can about the craft. Cooking for me is about more than just making delicious food....It is about bringing people together, creativity, multi-sensory experiences, tradition, family, and good health.
