About Me
Strength. intelligence and a penchant for fun. Sweet. A bit of a Pollyanna. I've traveled and am nourished by new as well as familiar experiences, especially music. Love to read, think, rock,talk, sing, hike, and be in and around the water. I play guitar with minimal skill. I'm good at my work, glad I get to do what I do and am nearing the final stretch on my doctorate. My children are flying the nest, as they should, and I will soon be in a position to fly myself. I prefer urban living but also need time away from all that. I'm from DC and grew up in the Northwest. I have a fairly sophisticated but grounded affect as a result. I love to have fun, am very comfortable traveling and also value intellect. I've lived broadly. I'm deeply Jewishly committed, but not a fundamentalist about that, and am scared of fundamentalist anything. An evening at the symphony followed by a martini, or a hike in a beautiful spot are both favorites. I am blessed with great friends and family.
