My name is Juroshrink1, but most of my friends call me Michael I’d be pleased if you would too. Every morning when I awake I find myself humbly grateful that people actually pay me for what I love to do i.e., I am licensed both as an attorney-at-law and as a mental health professional in the State of Maine, albeit my active practice is solely clinical i.e., I am primarily a marital psychotherapist. Where there is "no irk in my work", my vocation is also my avocation. I feel abundantly blessed. As a practicing psychotherapist, I understand that there is a time to be loving, nurturing, empathic, understanding and stand-up (with love and respect) for who I am and what I believe in.
So, you may ask, “who am I” in a non-professional context. I spend lots of time with my three children, as well as their children i.e., I have six grandchildren. I am somewhat of a “homebody”, though I am far from a “couch-potato” au contraire, I am indeed most gregarious, social and connect-oriented. I enjoy going to a "flick" (preferably with another), attending a live theatre (preferably with another encore), dining and cuddling with a heterosexual-other. I am both an audio learner and an audio "appreciator". The Sirius radio network in my home-stereo gets more "work" than my TV . I do not watch a great deal of television but when I do, it’s usually pro-football, pro-baseball and pro-hockey. I also enjoy programs that are informative, educational and intellectually stimulating. I hope that what you read is attractive for you, and I am open to your feedback. Notwithstanding any of my disclosures, I wish you and yours truly all the best in our search for that “special one".
My name is Michael. I live and practice in the North Deering area of Portland, and "I approve this message."
