I consider myself to be a warm, caring, and outgoing person. I am very much a people-person and have always envisioned myself having a career where I can work closely with others and make a difference in their lives. While it's not the most glamorous career, teaching pre-school age children is hands-down one of the most rewarding. I have a background in both regular and special education. As much as my students gain from me, I learn that much more from them, such as patience and an appreciation for the simpler things in life (especially the convenience of machine-washable clothes)."Loyal" is a word that my friends and family have used to describe me. They are a big part of my life, and I would go the extra mile for them.My interests vary. I love to work out, and go to the gym as often as I can. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing some sports (such as basketball and tennis), cooking/baking, shopping, and listening to music, just to name a few.
I find choosing labels to categorize yourself to be very tricky. Although I went to all Bais Yaakov schools growing up, I definitely don't consider myself to be typical "Bais Yaakov type." Having grown up on the Lower East Side I definitely don't fit in to a specific mold. While I'm machmir in some areas I consider myself to be more liberal/middle of the road in others.
Being religious is an important aspect of my life. I look forward to Shabbos each week as a time to unwind (and catch up on some much-needed sleep), and spend some quality time with family and friends. I especially love to host guests at my home...the more, the merrier. This is me in a nutshell. Want to know more? Contact me and I'll be glad to tell you.
