About Me
The basics: I moved to DC almost seven years ago for a newspaper gig that has recently led to my dream job. I grew up in Northern California and spent a year in Israel before undergrad at UCLA. I don't exactly exude the DC vibe -- I frequently strike up conversations with strangers and don't have a five-year plan. I'm pretty outdoorsy recent adventures include hiking in Yosemite, conquering a fear of heights via zip-line and pseudo-surfing in Hawaii. As far as DC adventures go, I try to hit the 930 Club/Black Cat when my favorite bands come to town. I recently did stand-up comedy for the first time and am on my way to being hooked on a new hobby... I'm a bit of a word nerd: I'm obsessed with Words with Friends/Scrabble, dislike the Oxford comma and pun like it's my (second) job. Looking for someone who can make me laugh, is confident but not cocky, and can both challenge and support me.
