I enjoy lots of outdoor activities like camping and hiking, and also the really strenuous ones such as lying on the beach. I love concerts, plays, festivals, places with lots of good people and good energy. I love ice skating, the smell of leaves in the fall, small towns, chicken soup, and the sound of my sneakers on the trail. It is important for me to truly listen to my friends and then goof off with them when I can. I remember birthdays of my best high school girlfriends and they remember mine! I'm probably the most conservative left-wing liberal you'll meet. I like to read, and one of my favorite authors is Daniel Quinn. Now I am reading 'The Secret Life of Plants'. It's fascinating. I'm more impressed by things you made, unearthed, built, or restored yourself than things you bought. I like animals, cooking, and doing things a different way. I'm not religious but spent some time in Israel. I also recently was in Africa learning to deliver babies. Nuff said?
