About Me
My friends and family would describe me as warm, bright, down-to-earth, sincere, kind, generous, principled and passionate, with a good sense of humor. I'm serious, but also have playful and silly sides (including bad puns). I'm very practical and analytical, and also have artistic, sensual, spiritual and romantic sensibilities. I love variety and learning and have a wide, ever-growing range of interests. I have eclectic musical tastes and enjoy the arts, movies, ethnic food, cooking, reading, social/political and environmental issues, personal development, wellness, animals and nature and a host of other things. I very much enjoy dining out and exploring new restaurants (especially small ethnic places). I am not religiously observant, but was for many years active in the Society for Humanistic Judaism which focuses on Jewish culture, history, values and traditions from a secular viewpoint. My family and good friends are very important to me and I'm very loyal to those I care about. I love my work and find it very fulfilling.
