About Me
I returned in 2010 from Uganda where I lived for 14 months doing development work. That was a result of big changes to be more responsive to opportunities -- sold my home and retired early from a Vancouver newspaper. I call it redirecting, not retiring. New doors have opened: Before Uganda, I did newspaper travel writing in Ukraine, China, Japan, Peru and Kenya. These are the kinds of things that move me: Hosting Chanting and Chocolate, drum circles at sunset, kayaking in the early morning light, thanking God for my blessings, dancing at the Commodore Ballroom, kissing for hours, lighting Shabbat candles with people I love, singing in Renewal services, yoga, cuddling, spiritual retreats, stillness, cherishing my beloved and being cherished. I'm loyal, sensitive, affectionate, romantic, creative, resourceful, financially independent and passionate about growth. I'm an empty nester with my darling 29-year-old daughter (see fourth photo) working in Ottawa. Take my handle here and add what you would yell if you won the lottery and you've got me.
