This is difficult at best and probably should be answered by a best friend. I care deeply about the people and principles that matter to me. My children, my family, my friends, my work and the activities that provide joy and satisfaction in my life. Though I take the principles and values that guide my life very seriously, I would like to think that I still know how to relax, unwind and enjoy the simple and not so simple pleasures of life, especially with the people I care about. I pride my self on being a loyal friend and good listener and being available when friends seek me out for counsel and advice. I suppose I will always be somewhat of a romantic, however, I have become somewhat more realistic about life and relationships. I live a very active life and physical activity is a daily part of my life. I try to re-examine my life often and I'm always open to new experiences. I recently fulfilled a lifelong dream by spending two weeks in Tanzania and I believe we should never accept that dreams can't be fulfilled. I ski and play golf, but my passion are my horses and riding. It is a very big part of my life. I have a home in Florida and I'm fortunate to spend the winter in Palm Beach with my horses and my love of the sport has taken me to Europe and throughout the US. I have always been an animal lover and now that my sons are grown young men, my "live in" family are my golden, my lab, "Cosmo" the cat and my horses. Even though i live in the country Manhattan is ony 1 hour away and i try to get in as often as possible to enjoy the great restaurants, theater and all that the City has to offer. Just can't take the City out of this country boy. One final word. I will not respond if a photo is not posted. And please, let it be recent. Fair is fair. I hope you understand.
