"No baggage" means you've never gone anywhere! I'm proud to say that I've got some- and it's covered with lots of fun, exotic and colorful stickers- memories of experiences that have shaped me and which illustrate who I am and the values I hold dear. I lived in Verona as a bambina, moved to Israel alone at 17, served in the IDF, and gutted homes and reunited pets with their families after Katrina. I’ve had the thrill of attending the wedding of two people who met at one of my “Shabbat by the Sea” Jewish singles retreats. I've ballooned over Cappadocia, taught Hebrew to Indian children, and spent 2 months in Israel volunteering at a home for abused and neglected children. I recently concluded a long career with the Dept of Defense and am poised to embark on the most thrilling and challenging journey of all: creating a mutually nurturing, stable and laughter-filled HOME with ONE perfectly imperfect Jewish mench. Baggage (particularly any that is "pint-sized") is quite welcome. *PLEASE NOTE: I visit California and Florida frequently.
