Dad hopelessly in love with 8 year old daughter looking for sane partner. Youthful 60 year old who likes hot tubs, fires(indoor and out), classical music, jazz, great views, peace and quiet. I have been described as "Clean enough to be healthy and cluttered enough to be happy." I like to think of myself as a mildly Renaissance person who is as comfortable in the woodshop and on the firing line as I am in a museum or a courtroom. I am strangely shy in unfamiliar crowds most of the time, and nervous as can be making speeches, but am totally at home with twelve in a jury box. I can be extremely engaging in intimate conversation or small groups and have a wide range of knowledge in many fields, although I hope I am the first to admit when "I do not know" and tend to be somewhat intolerant of those who do not do the same. I am a practical, honest man who listens to his heart, follows his intuition, and is trying to learn to choose fun over responsibility. I would appreciate meeting someone who has no hidden agenda and places a high value on loyalty and straightforward honesty. That person is intelligent, nurturing, caring, sharing, and strong when she chooses or needs to be. My gorgeous daughter deserves no less.
