I am the classic case of not judging a book by its cover. A stroke as a baby left me using a cane (and sometimes an electric scooter), so obviously I won't be doing any marathon-running or rock climbing, but I’m proud to be able to do everything else I want to do. I actually published a book on what it’s like living with a disability but not having a disabled life. It’s one of my proudest accomplishments.
I love to take long drives, swim, and fly down the ski slopes. While I won't be in the Olympics anytime soon, but I’m not too shabby. I’m an upbeat and positive guy who is comfortable being himself, whether at a sporting event (Go Wizards!), a history museum (I’m a bit of history buff), on a trip to NY to see a Broadway show, or at home watching the Discovery Channel. And I’ve been told I’m like a human GPS, which comes in handy sometimes when your iPhone breaks.
I’m independent, well-educated, and marriage minded. If I set a goal for myself, I make sure to achieve it. Of course, the current goal is meeting someone on JDate.
