About Me

I'm sensitive, honest (sometimes to a fault), a giver looking for another "giver" in a mate. I have a good sense of humor. I like laughing & having a good time, but also have a serious side when it's called for. (Yes, I know it's grammatically incorrect to end a sentence with a preposition, but have decided I don't care... LOL.) I'm deep, psychologically oriented, a thinker with a high level of consciousness, intelligent, insightful & creative. (I like writing, including poetry). I can think "out of the box". I have a strong spiritual side. I love music & books (mostly autobiographies & memoirs) that explore human nature, relationships, thoughts & feelings on a deep level. I see people & life in shades of grey & tend not to connect with people who see life & people in "black & white" terms. I'm practical but romantic at heart. I'm kind, tolerant, nonjudgmental, accepting of all kinds of people from all walks of life, both Jew & non-Jew alike. I tend to see & focus on the good in other people & situations. I see something that can be learned from almost anyone. I'm a warm person, a "soft touch above all" (according to my sister who wrote a composition about me in 8th grade), affectionate, positive, "real", playful, fun-loving & empathetic. I do have a streak of mischief, but in a very innocuous, playful way. My personality does have some "edge" & I tend to like that in men as well. I'm a very curious person. (If I hear about something that interests me, I'll surf the web to learn anything & everything about it.) I am adventurous & pretty flexible, positive & optimistic. I'm considered attractive, younger than my years in appearance, demeanor, personality & spirit, but mature in values & life views. I'm more Jewish than American at my core, but I do appreciate & enjoy (some) American pop-culture. As per the color chart, I'm mostly yellow (35%), but came in with blue very close behind (32%) & white very close behind that (31%). I really am a pretty equal mix of the traits associated with all 3 of those types. The only one I really am NOT is RED (only 2%). Red's core motive is power, in which I have NO interest. I'm not agressive, though I may be (gently) persistent at times, to get at the underlying truth. I'm an ENFP according to the Myers-Briggs personality test. When I clicked on "complement" (at the bottom), it said ENFJ & the description for an ENFJ described the type of man I tend to like most. That one is less academic & easier to read, but I take exception to some negative traits decribed there, which I don't think apply to me! But it said some of them applied to a "weak" ENFP, so either I'm a "strong" one or I'm just in denial (LOL).
