There are names we are given at birth and names we make for ourselves throughout life. I was given the name Samson, a biblical hero and judge who was also the namesake of my great uncle who resided in Cuba. It took me awhile to grow into my name but now that I have, I wouldn't ever change it...
Experience has been a great teacher and along the road I've been a volunteer fireman, played ice hockey and have taught Sports Law. I am called a Persian Mother who constantly is looking to feed friends or whoever stops by my place. To live up to that calling, I'm a big shopper and can often be found in the aisles of Costco filling an oversized wagon. Some think that I stock up on supplies because I'm a doomsday prepper.
My favorite pastimes include traveling to new places and an appreciation for museums, the performing arts, as well as the serenity of aquariums. I recently spent a week in Charleston and soaked up the rich southern history, architecture and style and the best restaurants in the country. It's a beautiful place with the friendliest people!
