Ok, so I’ve decided to change my approach here, throw caution to the wind and get real specific.
I have to admit, this post is very long, more easily read on a computer. And yet, a far shorter intro to me than the typical few lines, requiring weeks, if not months to get to really know the person. Now that’s a long intro. Instead, I'm going to go in deeper up front and get you there in about 15 min.
I’ve come to see the wisdom of getting into the stuff you’d only learn after knowing me a while. Sure, you might have to read a bit, but that sure as hell beats investing in a direction that might not be right for either one of us.
Alright then, let’s cut to the chase.
I am a teacher and artist whose medium is sculptural detailing in architecture, a writer of history, and academic in private practice.
I am creative, nurturing, focused, loving, insightful, funny, offbeat with an edge, simple with swirls of rich complexity. I’m a free spirit and lover of life—passionate, charming, sensitive, open-hearted, philosophical, intuitive, perceptive, sensual, a great listener and conversationalist.
I refuse to live an ordinary life. Why would anyone do that? I believe simple pleasures, marching to the beat of your own drum and that the good life is to be found tucked away just off the beaten path.
My purpose is to make beauty, cultivate community, and relate ideas. Relationships, creativity, ideas, the environment and living in beautiful surroundings are my highest values.
Complete as I am, the only thing missing in my life is becoming my woman’s man.
You are down-to-earth, creative, articulate, wise, radiant and natural—a mix of crunchy-granola, plain jane and artsy bohemian. You have curves and are by no means skinny or petite or frail or very fat—though some extra pounds are fine and a small tummy can be a very lovely thing.
You are smart, prefer talking about ideas and actions than people, events and things. You are an articulate and great listener (and are told so often).
You are sturdy and robust and not faint of heart, a pioneer woman, you've qualities of moxie, brio and panache.
You love working on projects. You are most likely an artist or writer and/or have a free spirit. Your career has not consumed you. Nor are you corporate. You have figured out a way out of the drudgery of the 9 to 5 commute. You are not a wage slave, locked into a rigid jam-packed schedule that leave just weekends open.
You are ready to be in a relationship and have the time it takes. You have an open heart and mind. You are relatively unencumbered, though not free of baggage. You are earnest (and know what that means) and not over-cooked. There is even something very raw (and sexy) about you.
Most of all, you are natural (and people often describe you that way).
