Who am I? Well, im a business owner (indoor air quality), an actor (i was mr. turkey in HONK) at CenterStage in Lake Forest, writer (wrote 5.5 scripts...still looking for a producer) and I have a new favorite past time...after many years of strumming on a guitar (since college) and polishing my act in front of a mirror, AND getting a taste of playing with a band at my HS reunion's Allstar Jame last October (see pic), I've caught the fever and starting to splash around in my music muse..its true what they say about a rock star's life. (oh yeah, I also go and watch my friend's, Roxy Stone, gigs to steal..barrow my act from her bands) And, due to recent passing of my dad (who was a known, prolific artist in Chicago) my status has risen from art show roadie (i can pack a van like nobody else) to seller of art (portion of funds to be used to assist future students of the arts). In other words, I am starting a new chapter and adding to the "dash" in my life. And I look forward to adding the "S" to the singular "he" to make a "we" (or something like that)
But thats just some of the things i do, not who I am. Laughter is very important (yeah, I know, everyone says that) so if you think you got what it takes to form the other half of this comedy team, send me your best "groaner" of a joke and paint me a picture of your idea of how to spend the perfect sunday morning (now i have to qualify here, due to nagging, i mean urging, from my sister and her friend, I must clarify that this is stictly for the purpose of seeing your creativity). And tell me why we should know each other. Nurturers only. For me, the glass isnt half empty or full, its where it is and always room for more. And figuring it out as it comes.
