About Me
I am single, a professional, working in an academic environment. My educational background is in Social Work and I am a research associate working on aging and long-term care studies. I have also recently returned to school - in a PhD program in Social Work.
As for my interests, I have a wide range of interests which include the arts (museums,symphony) I enjoy sports - by that, I mean going to games (college basketball, football) for participating in sports- I like to hike/walk; bike riding, would love to learn how to play golf. I used to ski, but haven't done so in quite a while. I enjoy traveling, dining out, going to the movies and playing games (cribbage, backgammon, cards).
I would like to meet someone who is interested in a long-term relationship. I value honesty - and would like to meet someone who also has a wide variety of interests. I don't have a big family, but am very close to my family (half live here on the east coast, the others on the west coast- so I do like to travel to California, but also have a list of other places I would love to travel to someday.
