About Me

Except for time at UVAfor college I have pretty much always been an upperwestsider. So, about me: Only people in the movie industry see more movies in the theater more than I do. Recent films include: Rango, The Company Men, The Eagle. I also tend to go to the theatre somewhat regularly. Recent shows I've seen included The Book of Morman, Good People, and a Spiderman preview. I also have some underutilized museum memberships. Weather permitting I like to wander around Manhattan, looking for tucked away antique/junk shops to explore. I love to ski (sadly didn't make it this year), play volleyball much of the year, and play softball and run in Central Park in the summer. Someday I’ll run my 3rd NYC marathon. I'm limiting my Sudoku addiction to train rides. I've got a great kitchen that's sadly underused. I have a bad habit of buying 3 books for every one that I read. Lately it’s been scifi and mystery with an occasional quality book tossed in. I'm a bit of a pop culture junkie, listen to top 40 radio (and also WCBS-FM). I watch a lot of TV, but with my DVR I’ve cut down on time I spend in front of the TV. Shows watched, House, Law and Order SVU, 30 Rock, SNL (great DVR and watch only the better parts), and Top Chef. People under pressure with big sharp knives - it's a gory headline waiting to happen. Allergic to cats. Never met a dog (or kid) I couldn't make friends with. I look young for my age. If I had a $ for every grey hair that I have, I'd be very poor.
