About Me
I like black raspberry ice cream on a sugar cone with chocolate sprinkles. Dulce de Leche from Haagen Dazs is good too.
My motto is "never a dull moment," and my favorite quote is from the cartoonist Paul Palnik: "The future belongs to the one most fully alive in the present."
I like:getting into mischief but out of trouble, buying produce at the farmer's market, books, cooking, the Olympics, hiking in the White Mountains, Martha's Vineyard, Shabbat and sipping rum in the summer.
Dislikes: walnuts and eggplant (my dislikes used to be limited to walnuts but eggplant makes the roof of my mouth tingle which I learned is an allergic reaction so my dislikes have now doubled).
I grew up #2 of 4 boys in Maine and get back to see my family a few times a year but it's never enough.
Photo #2 was taken at a summer bbq when I was telling the story about how I won the 1998 Rocky Mountain Speed Skiing Championship at 98.8 mph. I think my grin is from too much rum but I'm not sure.
I started playing tennis this summer and am looking for a new partner. Surfing is next on my list. And, I'm also looking forward to spending some time in Maine this summer. Perhaps you'd like to join me for a hike up Pleasant Mountain, followed by a cool-off swim in Sebago Lake.
