I'm open, friendly, approachable. I’m the one holding the elevator door for you. Chatting people up, whether we’re stuck waiting for a delayed flight or at a party. I’ll discover a friend in common or tell a story to break the ice. Despite my petite and angelic demeanor, I’m a tough cookie at the gym, a girl who’ll join you on a hike, bike ride, or just on any given Sunday (Go Giants!). I’ve met some of my best friends running marathons. On any morning you may find me running from my place to the SM pier and back or hiking Malibu canyon. The weather here is something I’ve gotten used to but will never take for granted. I’m close to my family and to friends I’ve had since junior high. When I’m not outdoors, I’m in the kitchen. Although I love my work in finance, I’m working on a second degree in nutrition in my so-called spare time. That means that when it comes time to show you how I feel, I may do it with a special (but healthy) home-cooked meal.
Oh right, if you've gotten this far you should know I'm really 43, but wanted to fall into your search criteria so I shaved a few years off above.
You have a sense of passion and purpose. You’re game for a hike in Zion. You’ll come to the Sunday family barbecue and join in a silly game with my friends’ kids. You might have a slight southern twang, but even if you don’t, you have the kind manners of a southern gentleman. You enjoy sports, but you also keep up with politics and current events – you’ll read the NY Times and even try your hand at the crossword puzzle. The strength of your convictions is as appealing as the strength of your arms around me. You might play guitar and sing me your favorite song, or get a little misty-eyed after an inspiring movie. You love music of all kinds. You’ll share picnics at the Hollywood Bowl listening to The Zac Brown Band, Dianna Krall, and Green Day. Although you’re solid, you don’t take life too seriously. You’ll always lighten the mood with a silly joke. You'll dance with me even if you think you have two left feet. Try your hand at making dinner for my birthday. You’ll tell me I’m beautiful when I’m still sleepy-eyed.
