About Me
I’m a Texan at heart but love living in D.C. And, while the fall sometimes finds me traveling for Texas Longhorn football games, I look forward to spending spring and summer evenings at Nationals Park. As much as I love the thrill of a live sporting event, it’s just as likely that you’ll find me discovering a new band at Iota, catching one of my favorites at the Birchmere (Have you heard of Jerry Jeff Walker?), or seeing a musical at the Kennedy Center. I’ve traveled to some far-off places, like Ethiopia, Cuba, and Morocco to name a few, but given two weeks off, I’m more likely to use the time taking some three-day weekends to visit friends in the US or to go to Jazzfest in New Orleans. I enjoy being out and about… making new friends, seeing new places, and discovering restaurants with a nice patio and great margaritas ... but spending the evening curled up on the couch with the right guy sounds even better.
