About Me

There's a popular song I remember from when I was a kid growing up in suburban Chicago. "You Belong to Me" sung by The Duprees had lyrics that got my attention like "fly the ocean in a silver plane, see the jungle when it’s wet with rain..." I've been doing that sort of thing since I was 22. I lived in Europe (Southern France, Germany, England) for 14 years I'm as comfortable in Paris, London, Berlin, Surabaya, Hanoi and Beijing as I am in my own backyard in Westport CT. I fell in love, got married, had two wonderful children and was a hands-on Dad. I'm still very much involved with my son and daughter who are now young-adults. As an international marketing consultant with my own successful business, I travel the world, professionally and for pleasure. I love classical music, ballet, theatre and non-fiction literature. I’m an avid and eclectic antiques collector, an enthusiastic at-home chef who enjoys good food with a nice bottle of wine. I believe in taking care of the planet and making the world a better place. What else? I like to be outdoors. I hike and fly-fish I have a well-deserved reputation for over-gifting friends with the Alaskan salmon I catch. I believe in being physically fit and intellectually open-minded. I communicate well and really appreciate that quality in others. I’m no "games player," just someone who is comfortable in his own skin, but also ready to learn from people I respect. I know how to be a partner in a meaningful relationship, one that includes depth, passion and friendship. I am a romantic I hope to find a kindred spirit, a woman who will share her own song as we build a life together.
