I guess we all feel a bit silly trying to broadcast to the world one of two things...either how great and desirable we are OR our ability to demonstrate false modesty. To be candid, maybe the best cyber bios are half way 'tween one and the other.
I have chosen the honorable (or, perhaps, dumb) route of being candid and accurate in my bio and using very recent photos....been flattered with comments such as 'gee, you could EASILY pass for ten years younger' but to me, while somewhat humorous, this isn't a game. I genuinely want to meet a wonderful woman and I simply can't see being deceitful in my methodology. . But there ain't an old foggie's bone in this boy's body. My mind and body haven't changed much over the years due, perhaps to genetics but also attitude. Never had to conform, never was beaten down by the system, and never had to follow someone else's direction.
Finished HS credits by 14, started my own business at age 23, am both cerebral and visceral...while reading, satisfying my curiosity, appreciating beauty, and learning are key aspects of my life, I am a competitive race car driver, run my own company, love to work with my hands, help maintain my 1700's ex dairy farm, fix things, good cook, and like most people (since the cows and chickens are long gone), buy my eggs and milk at the local market. Been 'round the world, seen the sites, walked the walk, and know my way around. I can't begin to describe my 'dream woman' because I am beyond merely looking for the coolest companion, the warmest friend, and the hottest lover. After all, buiding a romantic partnership is the only area of perfection I seek. And in that area my heart, mind, body, and soul are commited.
