Ex-NewYorker living in the midwest for the past five years. Its been interesting and a total culture shock at first, but helped me grow through new experiences. I've picked up some of the Midwest charm, such as, holding the door open and letting people cut me off on the road, and saying "y'all" and 'excuse me' every 2 seconds. However, not all is lost as I still have a 917 phone number and, at times, drive like its rush hour on the LIE. I try to stay active year round and have played almost every sport under the sun since I was an ankle-biter.
