Having lived all across the States, I settled into Portland nearly four years ago to escape the NYC rat race and to enjoy a small enough city that still has big city pleasures along with tremendous access to the beautiful outdoors. There are not a plethora of available cosmopolitan men in PDX, so I'm wondering what's going on in SF where I lived in the early 2000 and still have close family and friends. Next trip there is in two weeks. I've got my head on straight, enjoy life, have my own business though still have plenty of free time, and make it a point to take joy in the little things just as much as the big ones. I have certain crazy travel streaks and other times am home months at a time. I am working on becoming quite adept cooking at home with organic veggies, pastured/grass-fed meet, etc. That said clearly I'm in foodie heaven here (and I'd love to share with someone the pimento cheeseburger I just learned is a few miles from me)! Try to take one big overseas trip every year. Hoping to make it to Asia or Spain next. I like talking about what is going on in the world and am easily bored by filler. And while I've got my serious side, I'm pretty darn playful and enjoy witty banter. Life is great... just would like to find my man so we can be on this journey together. P.S. I'm still a true romantic. And the Southern side of me still very much appreciates chivalry and courtship.
