Being in good shape, both mind and body, is important to me. I prefer to see relevant or well-made movies, plays, museums, art shows, etc., but love to laugh. Just saw an old classic, "Airplanes, Trains and Automobile." with Steve Martin and John Candy. Steve Martin is (was) wonderful. I own a successful business that allows me enough time to fulfill other interests. I belong to the Houston Zoo and the Houston Museum of Art. Just as important are trips to the beach or a walk at the park (at dusk when the colors change from audacious stills to cameos, elongations and the final shadow dance of the day). I just got back from Big Bend where I stayed in the Chisos Mountain basin and braved the trails and watched out for the slightest move of a twig (there are lions and bears there!) The sign says to wave your hands to make yourself look big and don't run.... I think I'll play it by ear. I also took a trip to Luckenbach and yes, it's a place where no one is feeling any pain. amazing town, population, 3... I'd dearly want to travel more but want someone to share the experiences with.
I'd rather forge a unique path than stay in the tourist's section, but always take tours and stay at safe hotels..
I'd like to find someone who wants to join me in making a difference.--
