C’est moi, to your left reaping the reward of a 40 mile bike ride –the first leg of a fall tour of in the northern Shenandoah Mountains. Biking and beer—they go together.Biking and regular exercise are but two of my varied interests. I am taking saxophone lessons and try my hand at acting in community theatre and doing improv.To earn my keep I am a freelance science writer who has published widely. have been called eccentric by some. I have a fairly dry sense of humor and have driven people to near distraction with my puns. I am spontaneously affectionate. I think in a long term relationship simple things like a hand or shoulder squeeze and surprise gifts of trinkets are vital. I have traveled widely(recently to Iceland, Peru, the Azores, Newfoundland). My range of interests is wide, including photography, cooking, crossword puzzles, Scrabble, theatre, and films to note a few.
