I'm a dreamer and a doer. I often create new projects- a media campaign to inspire people to join a pro-environmental cause, or design a country home and build it. I was at UC Berkeley as part of the Free Speech Movement and lived in the mountains of New Mexico where I farmed and built my own adobe house. I had great fun teaching high school and made films with Indians. Im lucky to have raised 4 kids- artists, scientists and seekers all. When I have free time I skip down to Mexico and hang out in the rainforest or go surfing. In DC I run a national educational media organization. Fun is rolling around tickling, dancing, hiking, laughing and adoring another human being. Fun is imagining ways to make the whole world more just and free. Fun is also watching movies & discussing them seeing theater dancing and experiencing the work of other creative artists who let us into the interior world of other human beings with all our mutual hopes, longings, suffering, silliness, neurosis and genius. I have a home in Santa Fe with an orchard and gardens and walk in summer to the summits of 12,000 foot peaks and prance around. I want to expand my consciousness and spirit. Im quite physical and swim with dolphins in Hawaii, surf in Malibu- or bounce in my seat at a musical in D.C. at the Kennedy Center. I like to dance Merengue and slow romantic dances with a partner- soft touches and appreciative conversations. Fine wine, good food- I appreciate the opportunity to cook for someone. In the real world I get a lot done with multiple nationwide projects most days. In my personal world I like poetry and flowers. I am open, honest, sensitive, probing, and fully aware of how precious our time is alive, each breath, each moment, the exquisite opportunity to connect with the divine. I am both a realist and a romantic.
