I grew up in the South, which means I have an expansive knowledge about the "War of Northern Aggression", monogramed bags and barbecue. I went to college in Maryland and have slowly migrated North since my collegiate days. I used to be a journalist and now I work in public health. I am passionate about my work, but value the importance of having other interests and hobbies. I bring my sense of humor to almost every situation and am often found giggling (maybe even at my own jokes). I am learning Spanish and am totally enjoying the experience. In all the hustle and bustle of the city, I really like it when a stranger smiles at me. I guess the eat or be eaten attitude of the city hasn't fully engulfed the southern girl in me.
