About Me
I am an optimist, always preferring to see the good side of people and situations. I am close with my family. I enjoy dancing (especially Israeli folk dancing, but other kinds too). On the days I don't dance, I either take a walk, or do NordicTrack. I like all kinds of music except rap and heavy metal. I like going to movies, live theater, art museums, dining out, walking in parks, easy or moderate hikes, and traveling short or long distances. (Two of my photos are from my 5/2011 trip to Africa. The others are from 2009.)
Since retiring from my varied and interesting career with LA County, where I wore many hats over the years, I now do volunteer work once a week recording textbooks for blind and dyslexic students. I find this work meaningful, fulfilling, and educational. I try to visit my mother a couple of times a week. She is now 96, and happily ensconced at the Jewish Home for the Aging.
I would like to find a very special person to share my life with, and I hope I can do that with a little help from technology.
