Not currently active here, just thinking about it so I can't read your emails at this time. Not keen on 20 and 30-something year olds, lies about anything including your weight or your age, flirts, IMs, or e-cards. So what am I keen on? WNYC, the Science Times, dancing, bacon, pate de campagne, hardware stores, museums, walking around the reservoir, sprints, reading, new ideas, ancient history, Freakonomics, the Grateful Dead, the New Yorker, Neal Gaiman, Bohemian Rhapsody, Under Pressure, talking to strangers. Honest to a fault. Don't like high heels, reality tv, or strident ideologists. Believe there are no simple answers to almost anything. Wish I believed in God but I don't. Been reading Seneca (not in Greek), The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and Mansfield Park. A couple of adjectives: Nerdy and sensual. What my friends say: they rely on me for my honesty and empathy and sometimes advice. And my tangential nonsequitar based goofiness. Tomboy.was a stay-at-home mom for nine years my kids take up most of the space in my head and my heart started a career in real estate a year ago and whoa is it ever time-consuming someday I hope to put my U. of Chicago degree in English to use finishing up the script I started. Not interested in TV and really not interested in watching sports. Very taken with ideas but prefer not to get caught up in ideology.a sane, calm, really self-aware sort of fellow comfortable with his age for walks in the park and going to movies.
