About Me
Im a preschool special ed teacher which means that a big part of my day is spent saying things like "scissors don't go in your mouth" and "I said get off the table." Im still silly enough to believe you can make the world a better place. I won teacher of the year for my organization. Im into history, art, boxing, guitar, Picasso, and Modigliani and the New York Mets. I listen to a lot of music but rely on a pretty heavy diet of Jimi Hendrix, Miles, Ray Charles, Zeppelin, The Beatles, Dylan, old school hip hop. Last year after MCA died I taught the boys in my class to sing Brass Monkey. I started my own publishing company called Butcher Shop Press that publishes an art and poetry journal. I play guitar, sing , write poetry and paint. Id be lying if I didnt say that crazy was a word people use to describe me sometimes. But Im passionate, and well informed and not afraid to fight for what I believe in. I look better in person. I tutor. I live out near the beach which I realize means I trade extra travel all year for heaven during the summers. I have a few tattoos and my nose is pierced which I realize may scare some Jewish mothers but be assured my devotion to my faith is strong and deep-set. Im sure had I been born in a different time Id have been fighting with the Maccabees. Not quite the reformed bad boy but definitely a quieter and more responsible version.
