About Me

6ft tall. UES. ENFP. Cool field of work. Work hard, play hard. High quality music, film, & TV lover. Smart. Funny. Passionate. Sincere, genuine, & down-to-earth. A real nice guy, but I don't put up with BS. Recently moved back to NYC. Very normal by NYC standards, but very much an individualist. Ready for more fun times, new friends, and/or a relationship. Never married/No kids. Since I'm passionate about music and film and the mobile app leaves out "My favorite books, movies, TV shows, music and food" for some reason, please note here that I have vast eclectic taste: music: Radiohead, Atoms for Peace, Girl Talk, Warpaint, Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, M83, Röyksopp, RJD2, Daft Punk, MGMT, Interpol, LCD Soundsystem, Kid Cudi, Velvet Underground, Prince, Beastie Boys, Air, The Ramones, Led Zeppelin, and too much more to list really. I use Spotify. I like to share great music. "i use music to move on...to progress through life" —Thom Yorke film: Goodfellas, Raging Bull, The Godfather I and II, Taxi Driver, Annie Hall, Magnolia, Lars and the Real Girl, The Graduate, Serpico, Marathon Man, The Jerk, Harold and Maude, The Blues Brothers, American Psycho, Say Anything, Defiance, High Fidelity, The Impossible, Studio City, Inglorious Basterds, Silver Linings Playbook, and many more. Too many to list, really. Fan of directors like Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Wes Anderson. I work in film production, so film is important to me. tv: Bloodline, True Detective, Banshee, Homeland, Breaking Bad, Ray Donovan, Masters of Sex, Mad Men, House of Cards, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Louie, Parks and Recreation, Banshee, Portlandia, Boardwalk Empire, Sons of Anarchy, Justified, Sopranos, Damages, Curb, Entourage, House of Cards, Dexter, Hung, Californication, The Americans, Eastbound and Down, Rescue Me, Nurse Jackie, 24, West Wing, Sons of Anarchy, Magic City, Freaks and Geeks, Party Down, Bored to Death, Mad Men, The Wire, Skins (UK), Shameless, Orange Is The New Black, Fargo, Maron, Mr. Selfridge, Downton Abbey, Modern Family, The Newsroom, Veep, Girls, Nip/Tuck, Married, You're the Worst, Garfunkal & Oates, and Inside Comedy. Not much a fan of most "reality" TV, but lately I've found that I actually can get into Anthony Bourdain's shows, and other random stuff on HGTV and the Travel Channel. Oh, and I'm into Million Dollar Listing---New York especially. I hate the "reality" drama part of the show, but some of the real estate is incredible and I enjoy some of the negotiations... books: The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand is among my favorites. I'm an individualist, like Howard Roark. I'm against collectivist groupthink. I have a ton of books. Enjoy mostly nonfiction and history. But I'm a non-linear learner. I tend to jump around in books and go from one thing, which leads me to something else. When I get passionate about something, I read and learn a lot about it. I was also bit of a news junkie for a while.
