If you play enough gigs, it will happen. Believe me, it will happen. But otherwise, I've got the greatest job in the world. The stage is my office. The audience is my clientele. And my boss is me. Who wouldn't want that?
But I can't lie to you: musician isn't my primary job. Sure, it's more of an actual job than it is for most people (I compose for television on the side), but it's not the way I fund this crazy lifestyle. It was at one point, but I've since cut my hair and settled down a little.
