About Me
I am a Californian transplanted in New York with a love/hate for both cities. I love the energy of NYC, but miss the laid back feel of the West Coast. I have a witty and sarcastic sense of humor and can hold my own in a good banter. Try me. I enjoy intellectual pursuits but have my guilty pleasures. (Hello trashy reality TV.) (But I hate chick flicks.) I love seeing new things and meeting new people and wish I had more opportunity to travel. I'm a spelling snob and know the difference between your and you're, there, their, and they're, and will always place the period inside the quotations. I was recently peer pressured into doing a half-marathon so I've been spending quite a bit of time training for that. I've only fallen off the treadmill once so far. I feel pretty strongly about my religious beliefs but I'm open to all styles of observance and will never judge anyone based on theirs. I am staunchly committed to the people in my life. I am close with my family and have amazing friends, some of whom I've known since elementary school. I have a celebrity doppleganger.
