About Me
I grew up in this area and after a few years hiatus have settled in comfortably and am enjoying being around friends, family, and building community. I've lived for stints in Israel, served in the Peace Corps in a country you've probably never heard of (Suriname), and led service-learning programs abroad for college students.
I’m now finishing law school and working at an international org. After quite a bit of education, things are coming together professionally.
I love being outside and playing sports, and am fairly politically conscious. I’m also pretty silly and seek others that can relate. Like many people on this website, I am hesitant to be on here, and envision yentas shaking their fists at me from the grave because their kind is being replaced.
For what it's worth, I grew up in a tight knit Jewish community and had one non-Jewish friend until I was 18. Like many young Jewish boys, I dreamed of playing professional sports and said and did inappropriate things. I've since been rehabilitated though I still get pleasure from breaking social norms despite living a fairly normal life at the moment.
