About Me

Welcome one and all! :) I recently graduated from a master's program in clinical social work at NYU. During that time, I maintained internships, the latest of which included conducting therapy sessions with teenaged boys and girls ages 14-18 (although, occasionally, my client base was younger or older). The year prior, I had an internship conducting home visits with the chronically and persistently mentally ill. Challenging? Hell yeah. Rewarding? Even bigger hell yeah. I do hope to have a family someday, but I am certainly not in any rush to have kids. I'd rather be in a financially stable place before I bring a kid into the world and as most people know, graduate students don't usually make tons of cash. Hehe. I am a genuinely kind, compassionate person who firmly believes that kindness is a severely underrated quality in the world, and I want to help it make a comeback, hence the career choice. I enjoy having fun and going out. My family and friends are VERY important to me, and I will do almost anything for them (par illegal acts) hehe. It is very difficult to offend or provoke me, and even when provoked, I tend to use my intellect rather than anything else. Basically, I'm a nice, funny, intelligent person who wants to meet other people with the same sensibilities and interests. DO NOT message me if you are judgmental, superficial, sophomoric, or supercilious. :) (And especially not if you need a dictionary for any of those words). I'm kidding, of course, but points may be allotted if you DO know the words. ) I absolutely LOVE to travel! :) Also, I cannot seem to make this clear enough, I AM NOT ON HERE FOR CASUAL SEX OR HOOKUPS. iF THAT IS YOUR INTEREST, NO JUDGMENT BUT DO NOT EXPECT ME TO ENTERTAIN THE IDEA. If that last paragraph didn't scare you off, we will get along fine. :)
