About Me
Well after noticing my profile is somewhat out of date, I figured I should say something a BIT more recent. After finishing a postdoc, I've decided to try out the "mad scientist" lifestyle for a bit. On the surface, it sounds less nerdy but rest assured it is not. That said, one of my students once wrote that I was the "coolest nerd you will ever meet," (which I think sums me up pretty well).
I have a sarcastic sense of humor (which I like to think is witty), have been a vegetarian longer than I can remember, and still watch more cartoons than I should probably be admitting. I was raised in the south, but don't have an accent (I know that is a concern around here), but will still lapse into episodes of "southern gentlemanliness" that will just take some getting used to.
