About Me

A few basic facts about Me: I am a second generation LA native, (I know we can be rare, and some people think we don't have a good reputation, but I beg to differ). I like to have intelligent conversations, however I can go off on tangents about the most random things. I did go to a University and now have a full time job where I run a non-profit. I enjoy the outdoors and simply letting the sun and wind caress my skin. I like to read and have been like that since I was young. (Mainly fiction of the science fiction or historical fiction sort. If that makes me a nerd or geek or a dork... I am perfectly fine with that.) I like all kinds of movies from drama to action to science fiction to chick flicks. I am a big animal person, I live with a cat, have had dogs all my life and work with horses. Family and friends are important to me (which seems kind of redundant to say... but I do know some people who don't talk to their relatives....) I have plenty of hobbies and quirks and I'm always up for talking and perhaps learning something new. I don't think there is a such thing as "normal", but if there was... I think it would be pretty boring. It's the little details that make life interesting. One of my philosophies in everyday life is that people do not always fit into proper labels or boxes. Life is not black and white but many shades of grey. (And no... that has nothing to do with the book that everyone has been talking about. I've used that expression for much longer.) I am NOT looking for a one-time fling. I want something that has the potential to last a while. Someone who I can be myself with. My life is not lacking and I don't need someone to "complete" me, I just want someone to share experiences with because I feel like you often can enjoy things more with company. If we talk that doesn't put you in a 6 month or more commitmment.... but long term is my goal. I would prefer someone who: is close in age (preferably 27-35), lives within a half hour away (the traffic in LA can be a bit annoying at times), has a job, a mode of transportation and does not smoke. The ideal would be someone I could share many aspects of My life with.
