I grew up in Manhattan, and when I revealed to my family that I was making Brooklyn Heights my home, I was warned, "No one's going to visit you." It's not untrue. I definitely have to sell Brooklyn -- it's one stop past Wall St -- to those who don't leave their comfort 10028 zone.
I went to school in Vermont, then NYU for MBA. I've met Ben and Jerry, lived in French village of 300, have written coffee table books, and have been on NPR, but not Regis and Kelly. I've always wanted to make the world a better place. That's why I went into advertising and have my own company. Please don't blame me for childhood obesity even though I have written commercials for fast food, soda and salty snacks. The snacks have no trans-fats and the soda is diet. In my spare time I play make-believe with my nephews, such as"hey kids, make believe you're not hopped up on sugar." I would love to find someone nice, cute and fun, and go from there.
