About Me
I'm a free spirit. I grew up all over tr tri-state area, rarely staying in one place longer than a couple of years, so that is how I have lived my adult life too. I went to college in Baltimore and law school in Boston, but I'm back in NY for the near future. I majored in Russian and International Relations and for a time, my Russian was nearly as good as my English. I'm sorry to say that it is starting to get harder to speak and understand it, but I still read the Russian newspapers really if not daily. My French is passable and my Arabic is simply horrendous (as is my German for that matter), but I love languages and enjoy studying. I read everything I can get my hands on, but enjoy a solid social life when I'm not in the office (sometimes middle of the day with my colleagues, but that doesn't really count, right?). I am in the process of applying to the Foreign Service which is a dream career for me. Right now, I'm a contract attorney with a large Wall Street law firm and my office is pretty much my home. I am a horseback rider (although t has been hard to ride with the schedule I keep), a skier, a dancer, and I love to go for a good hike. I'm always on the move and I love it when someone can keep up with my energy.
