About Me   

I'm a laid back Northern Californian at heart, originally from the SF area, I moved east to go to college at Penn and then headed up to NY. I like to think that I have the best of both worlds in that I live in NY, where there are new adventures around every corner and always something to do, but when I need a change of scene I can go home to the great city of SF and spend a little time outdoors or with my family. I love travel, good food, good wine, good conversation, good friends, and especially in any kind of combination. I try to take advantage when I can of the arts and culture in the city, enjoy cooking, especially baking, am a pretty avid reader, and am desperately afraid of scary movies. I really enjoy a long run in the morning when the air is crisp and the city is just waking up - ran the marathon last year and still keep up with the mileage 4-5 days a week so that I'll be ready for the next one - while I'll be cheering this year I hope to run NY again next year. Although I do stay pretty active - I'll give almost any atheltic activity a try and am always up for a random outing - I definitely enjoy my downtime and can easily spend a perfect afternoon on the beach, reading and watching the waves roll in, or taking a leisurely walk through the city, stopping along the way to sit outside and enjoy a drink and some people watching. I take pride in my career and being successful and good at what I do, but definitely work to live; not live to work. I don't take myself too seriously, so hopefully you'll be able to laugh with me as well as (politely) at me...and that's just about the tip of the iceberg...
