My ideal relationship would be to meet my partner for life. He would be someone I could share goals and ideas with and we could achieve them together. We would support one another even if we didn't agree with one another. We could agree to disagree on things and not fight about them! He must not be afraid to take the back seat, when our children need the front! We would have respect for one another.
