Rarely do I get invited to a dance party. Folks my age don’t throw them. We’re too tired, too arthritic, or too dead. So, I was thrilled when my friend Luna called to say that her ex-boyfriend was throwing a dance party for his 66^th birthday, and he said it was okay to bring me.

Pikei Avot is commonly translated as Ethics of Our Fathers because many of its statements focus on ethical behavior. For those striving to be ethical, “Nittai the Arbelite says: Keep far from an evil neighbor, do not associate with a wicked man, and do not abandon the belief in retribution” (1:7).

The women who wrote some of the most popular and infamous dating books of the 90’s are coming out with a modern-take on dating called Not Your Mother’s Rules, which hits bookstores in February of 2013. I recently caught up with Ellen and Sherrie to see if they could share a few of their favorite tips!

Online dating has a fair share of perks. One of my favorite perks is the opportunity to talk to as many women as I can about online dating on a daily basis. What could be better, right?
