I'm so glad my story inspired you to not give up hope! I was off and on JDate during the 9 years(!) I was divorced, and often felt like I had an invisible magnetic "L" on my forehead that attracted all the losers around! But I tried hard not to let myself get jaded by all my previous negative experiences. I also used to try to keep a sense of humor about the whole dating process, and viewed each unsuccessful match as possible material for the book, movie, or stand-up comedy routine I might someday want to write. LOL If someone had told me it would take me 9 years to find "the One," I probably would have been depressed. But, now that I'm ecstatically happy every single day of my life, the 9 years seems like such a small price to pay for being able to look forward to spending the rest of my life being truly happy with my true love!
