Both of us signed up for JDate for different reasons after graduating college. I personally was moving to a new state and wanted to make new friends and find a Jewish community. My fiancé, Mark, was encouraged by his mom to join JDate to meet some new friends in his area.

We happened to find each other online just prior to my move. I actually messaged Mark first and it was the best decision I ever made. We began talking and immediately had a connection.

We had our first date at a minor league baseball game the very first week I moved. A few dates later, we began dating exclusively. Now, around a year and a half later, we are recently engaged and looking forward to our future together.

Although we were both a bit skeptical of online dating at first, we are both happy with our experience and encourage all our single, Jewish friends to sign up. If it hadn’t been for JDate, I never would have met my best friend and the love of my life.
